Polygonatum — Solomon's Seal
Three species can be found in Delaware.

Polygonatum biflorum var. biflorum, Solomon's-seal
Native, Piedmont & coastal plain
Lower leaf surface hairless, with no more than 5 main veins; typically with two flowers per cluster; up to 3' tall.

Polygonatum biflorum var. commutatum, Giant Solomon's-seal (Polygonatum caniculatum)
Uncommon native, Piedmont only
Lower leaf surface hairless, with 7 or more main veins; typically with more than two flowers per cluster; up to 6' tall.

Polygonatum pubescens, Downy Solomon's-seal
Native, Piedmont only
Short hairs along veins on lower leaf surface; up to 3' tall.
