Two species can be found in Delaware.

Juglans cinerea, Butternut
Native, Piedmont only
Fruit pointed; fuzzy gray strip at each leaf scar.

Juglans nigra, Black Walnut
Native, Piedmont & coastal plain
Fruit round; no fuzzy strip at leaf scar.
